My career in finance started in January 2004. I had the opportunity to work in my uncle's Dijck and Rider administration office to see whether I liked finance and whether I had a feeling for it. I started booking invoices and processing bank statements.

I soon discovered that I was interested in finance and, after an evaluation with my uncle, I also came to the conclusion that I had a feeling for it. After some time I ended up in secondment and eventually joined the second assignment where I worked for almost 7 years and learned a lot. I have now seen many different companies and cultures. I have always continued to develop myself through training and education. For example, I completed a Master's degree in Finance & Control in 2022 and I recently started training to become a Certified Management Accountant at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. I have been able to hold various positions over the past 17 years, which means my knowledge and experience is broad. In recent years I have mainly worked within large international companies as a controller (both finance and business) and finance manager. My experience means I can be of added value to your organization if you are looking for interim finance solutions or when setting up and improving your processes and systems.
